Dear Parents and Guardians of Graduating Seniors,
Olmsted’s Graduation Plan is being e-mailed to you today. A copy will be placed on our school website. A copy will be e-mailed to each senior via Schoology. It took longer than expected to get the plan approved as all schools had to take into account guidelines established by the district, the City of Buffalo, and New York State. Then the district had to give final approval. Due to various factors the date had to be moved up and we were asked to have it over two days. Although this is not graduation any of us envisioned, we are working hard to make sure we give the graduates a good send-off from Olmsted.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Every year a Scholastic Achievement Recognition Dinner is held to honor the three top seniors in every high school in Erie and Niagara Counties. Seniors attend with their school principal and the district superintendent. This year would have been the 40th dinner and the dinner would have been held tonight at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens. It is a great event and I feel badly that the seniors will miss this. I would like to give a shout-out to Olmsted’s three top seniors – Timea Kadas, Emily Mogavero and Willaina Chandler – who would have been honored this evening.
