An Early Release Day for Frederick Law Olmsted #156 students in Grades 5-8 and YELLOW BUS students in Grades 9-12 ONLY is scheduled for Thursday, March 10th at 11:30 a.m.All dismissal procedures apply. If you are picking up your child, please report to the Middle School cafeteria entrance at the corner of Suffolk St. and Hempstead Ave. Students must be signed out using the QR code or sign-out book. Only authorized persons, per Infinite Campus records, may pick up students.
If your child is usually on a yellow bus but will be picked up that day, please send a note to the homeroom teacher in the morning.

Due to the tragic events that occurred at McKinley HS yesterday, Buffalo Public Schools will be providing district and school-wide supports in all of our buildings throughout the day:
Student Self Referral Form- 156
At Olmsted 156, we will be communicating to students the importance of:
- positive conflict resolution
- asking for help
- keeping a safe environment
- reporting all suspicious and unsafe activities
Students will have the opportunity to interact with Student Support Team members in Room 103 throughout the day, as needed, as well as share their thoughts and feelings during circle time as implemented by teachers and staff. If your child needs assistance, please reach out to any Administrator, Counselor or Social Worker at (716) 816-4330:
